Forra del Forello
Umbria
Below the town of Baschi, the Tiber carves a short, dramatic canyon through columnar basalt before opening into Lago di Corbara — one of the few places the river shows real gorge character. The trail follows the old towpath along the cliff base, with kingfishers and grey wagtails working the shallows. It's a little-visited counterpart to the better-known lake itself.
