Sos Nibberos protects one of the largest natural stands of yew ("tassu") in the Mediterranean: dark, slow, twisted trees under a canopy of holly and holm oak, a few dated at over 1,000 years. A short marked trail loops through it in the state forest below Monte Pisanu.
