Forca di Presta

This pass sits at the base of the Sibillini's highest peak, Monte Vettore, and serves as the standard starting point for the long climb to Lago di Pilato, a small glacial lake famous for its rare native shrimp. Even without continuing to the lake, the pass itself offers sweeping views over the Piano Grande basin to the west. The road up is a popular cycling climb in summer.
