Foce del Saccione dune coast
Molise
The Saccione stream reaches the Adriatic through a shifting spit of dune and a small lagoon, at the very southern tip of the Molise coast next to the Lago di Lesina. It is undeveloped — marram grass, sea lily, tamarisk and wading birds — and a flat walk along the strand crosses from one region into the next.
