Finale Ligure has the greatest concentration of sport climbing routes in Europe — over 1,500 bolted routes on sea cliffs and inland gorge walls. The walks above and between the cliffs pass the Arma delle Manie (Neanderthal cave with 50,000-year-old finds) and the hilltop medieval village of Finalborgo. Even non-climbers find it exceptional.
