Faraglioni di Scopello, Trapani

Sicily

The Faraglioni di Scopello near Castellammare del Golfo are Sicily's most photogenic sea stacks — three limestone pinnacles rising from a tuna-fishing cove below the Norman-era tonnara (tuna trap) of Scopello. The tonnara is now a private estate with the old net-houses still intact. Peregrine on the faraglioni. The cove water is turquoise. Dogs on leash near the tonnara.
