Erto e Casso — Vajont Memorial Walk
Friuli-Venezia Giulia
The old stone core of Erto was largely emptied after the 1963 Vajont landslide and dam-wave disaster, and much of it survives today as an open-air memorial rather than a ruin. A gentle path leads through the empty lanes and stone houses, with the dam and reservoir visible in the valley below.
