Eremo di San Colombo, Roccamorice

Like its better-known neighbour San Bartolomeo in Legio, San Colombo is a hermitage built directly into the Majella's rock face, founded in the tradition of the hermit-pope Celestine V. A steep path from Roccamorice climbs through holm oak to a narrow ledge trail along the cliff, ending at the hermitage's rock-cut chapel.
