Craco Ghost Town

Craco was a Norman hilltop town abandoned after a 1963 landslide made the whole site unsafe. The perfectly preserved ghost town has been used as a film location for Quantum of Solace (Bond), The Passion of the Christ and Christ Stopped at Eboli. Guided visits only — but the external views from the valley are remarkable even without entry.
