The Costa dei Trabocchi coastal path converts an old railway into a walking and cycling greenway above the Adriatic. The trabocchi are ancient wooden fishing machines on stilts — elaborate structures projecting from the cliff edge with nets suspended by long poles. Many are now restaurants serving fresh catch.
