Cornizzolo's open, grassy summit makes it one of the most popular paragliding and hang-gliding launch points in Lombardy, and on clear days pilots can see all the way from the Alps to the Milan skyscrapers before they even leave the ground. The ascent from Canzo climbs through mixed forest before breaking into pasture near the top. Even without wings, the panorama across the Brianza lakes and down to Lake Como's Lecco branch is one of the region's best.
