Comiso — Chiesa Madre e Centro Storico

Comiso's historic centre, like much of the Val di Noto, was rebuilt in the Baroque style after the 1693 earthquake, its Chiesa Madre dome ranking among the largest domes in the whole region. The town is quieter than Ragusa or Modica, giving flat, easy streets without the crowds.
