Colle di Medea

Friuli-Venezia Giulia

Medea's hill stands alone above the vineyards between the Isonzo and the Judrio. A short path (or road) climbs to the "Ara Pacis Mundi", a low ring of ossuary walls and a bronze by Luciano Ceschia honouring the fallen of all wars, from where the eye runs from the Adriatic and the Carso to the Julian Alps and the Collio.
