Monte Totila — Agnone Pass

Molise

The ridge above Agnone in the upper Molise Apennines gives one of the finest views in southern Italy — the Adriatic is visible to the east and the Campanian mountains to the south. Agnone (840 m) is the world capital of artisan bell-making — the Pontificia Fonderia Marinelli has been casting bells since 1339. Wolf and wild cat are resident on the ridge above.
