This dry riverbed canyon, one of the longest in the Supramonte, drops gradually from the high plateau near Urzulei down to the sea at Cala Luna, its walls closing in tightly at points along the route. Oleander and myrtle crowd the streambed, which carries water only after heavy rain, and wild boar tracks are common in the softer ground. It's traditionally combined with a boat pickup at the beach, since retracing the full canyon on foot in the same day is a long undertaking.
