Civita — Arbëreshë village & Kamastra bridge
Calabria
Civita was founded by 15th-century Albanian refugees and still speaks Arbëresh, celebrates the Byzantine rite and hangs "comignoli" chimney-pots on its houses; some façades have windows and doors arranged like faces (the "Kodra houses"). Below, the Ponte del Diavolo leaps the Raganello canyon.
