Trisulti monastery was founded in 1204 by Innocent III and is one of the best preserved medieval Cistercian complexes in Italy. The forest walk up from Collepardo passes through ancient beech trees before arriving at the monastery complex with its baroque pharmacy, cloister and library of illuminated manuscripts.
