The Varese lake path is a fully paved, almost level circuit through plane-tree avenues, marshy nature reserves and lakeside parks, with the pyramid of Monte Rosa across the water. Boardwalks skirt the Brabbia marsh and a short boat hop reaches the UNESCO Isolino Virginia.
