Cascate del Verde

The Verde stream drops roughly 70 metres in a series of leaps through a mossy limestone amphitheatre on the Abruzzo-Molise border. A well-marked path descends through hazel and beech woods to platforms at different levels, each giving a different angle on the falls. It's at its fullest after spring snowmelt.
