Cascate di Vallesinella

Just outside Madonna di Campiglio, this easy path climbs past three falls of increasing size, the highest, the Cascata Alta, dropping through a narrow limestone cleft. The route sits at the base of the Brenta Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage massif quite different in colour and shape from the main Dolomites further east, and it's a classic first outing for families staying in the resort.
