Cascate del Ferro, Val Masino

Lombardy

Where the Masino drops out of the hanging Val di Mello it pours over a wall of clean granite in the Cascate del Ferro, best seen from a footbridge just below. It is a five-minute walk from the road, with the Sasso Remenno — one of the biggest boulders in Europe — and the Val di Mello meadows just upstream.
