Cascate del Dardagna, Appennino Bolognese
Emilia-Romagna
The Dardagna torrent above Lizzano in Belvedere drops through seven successive falls over 400 m — from 3 m to 25 m each — in a well-maintained reserve. The trail beside the falls is wide and partially paved, suitable for all abilities. At the top the path enters old beech forest where deer are regularly seen at dusk. The falls are at their most dramatic in snowmelt (April–May) and after autumn rain.
