Cascata di Varone, Riva del Garda

Trentino-Alto Adige

The Cascata di Varone above Riva del Garda plunges 100 m through a limestone gorge — the gallery walkway was cut through the rock in 1907 and visitors walk within metres of the falling water. The upper gallery is directly inside the spray. Dippers nest on the gorge walls. The approach is through an old olive grove. Dogs on leash on the narrow gallery path.
