Cascata Sa Spendula

One of Sardinia's most visited waterfalls historically, this cascade drops in several stages through granite terraces right at the edge of Villacidro town, easily reached without a long approach. Nineteenth-century travellers wrote about excursions to the falls, and the surrounding park still carries an old-fashioned, well-tended character with stone paths and iron railings from that era. Flow is strongest in spring and can slow to a trickle by late summer.
