The Cascata di Novalesa above the village of Novalesa in the Cenischia valley (below the Mont Cenis pass) falls 90 m from a notch in the granite — the approach passes the Abbazia di Novalesa (726 AD, oldest monastery in Piedmont) which preserves extraordinary Carolingian frescoes. The valley is on the Via Francigena. Dipper on the stream. Dogs welcome.
