The Cascata dei Capelli di Venere (Venus's Hair Waterfall) near Casaletto Spartano in the Cilento National Park slides over a tufa shelf draped in maidenhair fern (Adiantum capillus-veneris) — the fern's delicate fronds give the waterfall its name. The tufa is bright green from moss and fern. Dipper on the pool. The valley approach is through oak and chestnut forest. Dogs welcome.
