Cascata delle Ferriere, Genga

The Cascata delle Ferriere in the Gola della Rossa reserve near Genga falls 30 m over travertine steps in a side valley of the Sentino river — almost completely unknown despite being inside the Frasassi gorge reserve. The approach is 15 minutes from the road. Dipper on every pool. The travertine formations are actively growing. One of the finest and least-known waterfalls in central Italy.
