Cascata della Capra, Pollino

The Cascata della Capra on the Basilicata side of the Pollino National Park falls 40 m into a deep pool in old Bosnian pine forest. The approach from Terranova di Pollino follows the river through beech and pine. Wolf tracks regularly seen on the path in winter. Otter on the river below the falls. The Pollino stream above the falls is excellent for trout. Dogs off-leash.
