Capo Sant'Ampelio & Lungomare Argentina, Bordighera
Liguria
Capo Sant'Ampelio, marked by a tiny 11th-century church on the rocks, is the most southerly point of the region. From it the Lungomare Argentina — named for the many Argentines who wintered here — runs flat for two kilometres past palm gardens and pebble coves, with the French coast and, on clear days, Corsica offshore.
