Gola Gorropu East Approach

Sardinia

The eastern approach to Gorropu from the Genna'e Silana pass is longer but less demanding than the western route. The path descends through ancient holm oak forest to the riverbed of the Flumineddu, then follows boulders upstream into the canyon mouth. The first narrows, where walls close to 20 m apart, appear after 2 km.
