Canyon Rio Sass, Fondo

The Rio Sass has sawn a narrow gorge up to 50 m deep into glacial and dolomitic rock beneath Fondo in the Val di Non. A guided route of walkways, spiral stairs and rock-cut tunnels threads the fossil-rich walls, waterfalls and potholes; the village's lake and orchards are a short walk from the exit.
