Cammino di Sant'Agostino
Lombardy
Inaugurated in 2015, this camino traces the footsteps of St Augustine through the heart of Lombardy, connecting the Roman Ticino bridges of Pavia with the Brianza hills where Augustine studied. The terrain is mostly flat — rice paddies, canal tow-paths, Romanesque abbeys — making it an ideal first multi-day walk.
