Bussana Vecchia — Il Paese degli Artisti

Bussana Vecchia was largely destroyed by a devastating 1887 earthquake and left empty for decades before artists began quietly rebuilding parts of it in the 1960s, creating a strange mix of open ruins and lived-in studios. The lanes wind between the two states, with views down to the coast near Sanremo from the edges of the village.
