Bus de la Lum
Veneto
The name means 'hole of light' in local dialect, referring to the shaft of sun that reaches its floor at midday. It's one of the deepest and most dramatic potholes in the Venetian Prealps, ringed by a safety fence and interpretive panels. During WWII it was used as a mass grave, and a small memorial now marks the site.
