Bosco di Don Venanzio, Pollutri

The Bosco di Don Venanzio is a small reserve where cold springs surface among towering white poplars, elms and oaks, feeding a chain of pools thick with dragonflies and frogs. Flat gravel paths and boardwalks loop the wettest ground, a cool green pocket between the vineyards of the Chieti hills.
