The Golgo plateau, grazed by semi-wild donkeys and goats, sits above the cliffs that drop to Baunei's famous coves, and holds Su Sterru, a natural sinkhole plunging around 270 m — among the deepest of its kind in Europe. Easy plateau paths lead to the rim, with the more demanding descents to the coast covered elsewhere.
