Baia di Ieranto

Campania

This cove was slated for a large mining operation in the mid-20th century before being rescued and handed to the Italian environmental trust FAI, which now manages the surrounding hillside as a nature reserve. The trail down from Nerano passes old lemon terraces and pine woods before opening onto a small, quiet beach.
