Area Marina Torre di Cerrano
Abruzzo
The Area Marina Protetta Torre del Cerrano wraps the old Aragonese tower that once watched for Turkish raiders, now a marine-park visitor centre. Behind the beach a young pinewood on restored dunes is threaded with boardwalks, and the shallow water offshore hides the remains of the Roman port of Hatria.
