Alto Garda Lombardo — Tremosine
Lombardy
Tremosine is a plateau village 600 m above Lake Garda reached by the Forra di Campione road — a tunnel carved through a vertical gorge that Churchill allegedly called the Eighth Wonder of the World. The walk along the plateau edge looks straight down the cliff to Limone sul Garda below. The vertical relief is vertiginous.
