One of the classic hard days out of Cogne: the path climbs abruptly from Valnontey, traverses a wildflower balcony with a few airy steps, and reaches the lonely huts of Alpe Money at 2,325 m directly opposite the Gran Paradiso and Tribolazione glaciers. Ibex are all but guaranteed.
