From Cevo or Filorera a path climbs through chestnut and then fir forest to Alpe Granda, a broad grassy terrace with a small refuge looking straight across the Valtellina to Monte Disgrazia and the Orobie. The Sentiero Life anti-fire trail links it to Rifugio Bosio.
