Ulassai — Case a Pisu

Ulassai's older quarter, Case a Pisu, is built directly against and partly into the base of the towering limestone tacchi that rise behind the village, one of the more striking examples of vernacular architecture adapting to Sardinia's karst landscape. The climb through the old lanes gives a close view of the cliff face itself.
