Serra del Prete rises to 2,181 m on the border of Viggianello and Morano Calabro, reached most often from Colle dell'Impiso or Piano di Ruggio through dense beech forest that opens into high pasture near the summit ridge. The ascent gains over 600 m, but the payoff is a 360° view taking in both sides of the Pollino range at once.
