One of the last unbuilt gaps on the Teramo coast, the reserve keeps a mosaic of low dunes, reed-fringed stream, hedgerows and small farms behind a wide pebble-and-sand beach. Flat lanes and a coastal path run its length, busy with migrating birds in spring and autumn.
