Norcia — Castellina & Le Mura Loop

Norcia's hexagonal circuit of walls, largely 13th- to 16th-century, survived the 2016 earthquakes better than much inside them, and the rampart path around the perimeter has since reopened to walkers. The loop passes the restored Castellina fortress and gives views out to the Sibillini peaks beyond the walls.
