Lago di Annone lies in the amphitheatre of hills between Lecco and the Brianza, its two basins linked by the narrow Isella isthmus. A near-level path and boardwalks follow much of the shore through willow and reed, rich in herons and grebes, with the Corni di Canzo and Monte Barro rising straight above the water.
