Laghetti di Timau
Friuli-Venezia Giulia
At the hamlet of Timau, water pouring out of the mountain forms two shallow, intensely green pools before joining into the But. A flat path loops them under the crags of the Pal Piccolo — a fierce WWI front, its galleries and cemetery just above — and past the old flour mills the springs once drove.
