Cefalù — La Rocca Belvedere

La Rocca rises sheer behind Cefalù's old town and Norman cathedral, its summit ringed by megalithic walls far older than the medieval town below and crowned by the ruins of a small temple. The climb is steep but well marked, rewarded by a view over the whole gulf and coastline.
