Cascata del Barman, Andreis
Friuli-Venezia Giulia
From Andreis — a huddle of dry-stone houses with wooden balconies — a path climbs through beech into a side ravine where the Barman stream drops a long way over a mossy rock wall. The Dolomiti Friulane national park around it is some of the emptiest mountain country in the Alps.
