Bosco Isola, Lago di Lesina

Puglia

Bosco Isola is the 20 km spit that closes off the Lesina lagoon — Aleppo and stone pine planted on the dunes, a wide empty beach on the sea side and the still, brackish lagoon with its eel fishery on the other. Flat sandy paths and a cycle route run the length of it.
